Belfast City Centre to Titanic Quarter
Plan your journey from Belfast city centre to Titanic Quarter by walking, Glider, train, taxi or car, with time to explore on arrival.
You can travel from Belfast city centre to Titanic Quarter on foot, by public transport, by taxi or by car. Choose your destination first: Titanic Quarter is a district, while Titanic Belfast is a specific visitor attraction within it. The best arrival point depends on the building or waterfront location you want to reach.
For a straightforward sightseeing visit, compare walking with Glider G2. If your trip includes luggage, a fixed arrival time or particular access needs, factor those into the choice rather than selecting transport on distance alone.

Things to Do in Belfast
Explore Belfast highlights without trying to fit every attraction into one day.
Walking from the City Centre
Walking allows you to make the journey part of the visit. Plan your route from the exact place you are starting and decide whether you want to go directly to your destination or include a waterfront stop.
Use the attraction's official walking map if Titanic Belfast is your goal. Leave a buffer before a booked entry slot so you can navigate without rushing. For a family outing, allow additional time for crossings and breaks rather than treating a map estimate as a guaranteed arrival time.
Taking Glider G2
Translink's G2 service links Belfast city centre with Titanic Quarter along Queen's Road. It is an option if you would prefer to reduce the walking portion of the journey or save your energy for exploring after arrival.
Before setting off, use Translink's current planner to identify the appropriate boarding point, destination stop and ticket arrangements. Check the return journey as well, particularly if your plans finish in the evening. A route serving the district still requires you to choose the stop that suits your particular destination.
Arriving by Train
Titanic Quarter station is another arrival option, but it should not be confused with a station at the attraction entrance. Check the onward walking route before choosing rail, especially if you are comparing it with a direct bus or Glider journey.
Rail may fit a visit that begins elsewhere on the network. For a short journey from a central hotel, compare the complete trip, including reaching the departure station and walking after arrival. Use Translink for the services available on your travel date rather than assuming a particular connection.
Taking a Taxi or Driving
A taxi can suit travellers who want a direct journey from accommodation or need to manage luggage. Give the driver the attraction or venue name rather than only Titanic Quarter. If you need a particular type of vehicle, arrange it when booking.
For drivers, Titanic Belfast publishes visitor parking information on its official website. If you are attending another venue, use that venue's parking instructions instead. Check the entrance location, current charges and vehicle restrictions before departure, and include time to walk from the parking area.
Plan What to Do on Arrival
Decide whether you are coming for the Titanic Experience, an outdoor look around the waterfront or a longer district visit. A booked indoor attraction and a short outdoor stop call for different amounts of time.
Check the attraction's opening and admission information before organising transport around it. If you add another activity, locate it on the map and leave time between visits. A district itinerary becomes easier to follow when each stop has its own arrival point rather than one general destination pin.
Return to the Centre
Choose your return method before the day begins, then keep it flexible where possible. You might walk in one direction and use public transport in the other. Check the appropriate return stop instead of assuming it is directly opposite the arrival stop.
If dinner is booked in the centre, allow time to travel back and reach the restaurant. To continue sightseeing afterwards, see our Belfast City Centre Walking Guide. Keep your booking details and route information accessible throughout the outing.
